Kyiv is the capital of the Ukraine with more than 1500 years of history. It is well-known for its historical and architectural monuments and great landscape. According a legend the city was established by three brothers Kyiv, Check and Khoryiv and their sister Lybid. The city was called in hour of oldest brother. In 9 th century Kyiv became a capital of Kyiv Rus state. In 988 Kiyv Rus was baptized by grand duke Volodymir. After it Kyiv became a cultural and religious center of Eastern Europe.

Kyiv is a modern city with a great history. In the capital of the Ukraine you can see many monuments that are well-known in many places of the world such as Sofiyskiy Cathedral, Kyievo-Pecherska Lavra, Andriyska and Kirylyvska churches, visit Kyivo-Mogilyanska Academy – the oldest university in the Eastern Europe, enjoy walking in many parks and gardens.

Chernigiv is the center of one of the Ukrainian districts, located at the north of the country. It is located at the right bank of Desna river. There are many cultural and historical monuments. There you can see many antiquities and peaces of folk art in museums. Chernigiv is quite quit and peaceful town, where you can enjoy a spirit of ancient times.

Autonomic Republic Crimea is located at the south of the Ukraine. It is surrounded by Black and Azov seas. South Crimea has Mediterranean dry subtropical climate. The average temperature in January is + 4 C and + 24 C in July . Around 20% of the territory is occupied by mountains. There were many rulers in the Crimea, so it keeps signs of many cultures and civilizations. In 7 th -5 th centuries B.C. Greeks have establishes many cities-settlements in Crimea. It also keeps signs of Mongols, Tatars and Russian.

Nowadays Crimes is developing to become a world well-know recreation zone. Many new hotels and complexes were built to welcome guests from and outside the Ukraine.

Yalta is the most popular resort in Crimea. It has become a stylish elite resort during 19 th century thanks to many generations of the imperial family, who has loved this place and has influnced the development of the resort.

The town combines the beauty of cost, exotic of mountains and the smell of Eastern antiquity. During the summer time it becomes a culture center of the country. There are many cinema and theatre festivals, pop-music competitions and many performances of theatre and music stars.

Sevastopol is a military navy, an important industry, scientific and cultural center of Ukraine.

Museum of a Chernomorskiy navy was created in 1863. Its exposition tells the story about 200 years of Chernomorskiy navy history.

“Hersones Tavricheskiy” – is a unique archeological, historical and cultural reserve. It includes territory of ancient and medieval Hersons. The city was established by Greeks in 5 th century B.C. and existed for more than 2000 years. In the museum you can see patterns of ancient and Byzantine culture, which were founded during archeological digs. There are ruins of fortresses’ walls, streets and houses, palaces and temples with unique mosaic floor, ruins of the ancient theatre – the only one left on the CIS territory. For more than 170 many archeological digs took place in the city. In 1996 Hersones was enlisted into the UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Odessa This beautiful city is located at the south-west part of the Ukraine on the Black sea coast in 490 kilometers from Kyiv. Accordingly to the European measure, this city is quite young. It was established in 1794 as a sea fortification of the Russian empire. In a short period of time Odessa became an important port, industrial, scientific and cultural center. As a port city Odessa always attracted people from many nationalities, this is why Odessa residents have specific talk and manners – a combination of many cultures. What is more Odessa is a humor capital of the Ukraine. There are many festivals and performances in the city. From the first minutes in the city you will fill specific atmosphere. Odessa is a perfect place for relaxation and tourist sightseeing. There are many interesting places to visit and there is also a Black sea with nice beaches. Odessa opera house is well-known for its beauty.

Karpatian mountains It is a unique place in Europe, because there you can see very old forests and beautiful mountings, discover a different culture and traditions, have a rest (in any season there are plenty of sings to do) or receive a treatment (Karpatian mineral water is well-known for its healing power).

Lviv is a western capital of the Ukraine, it is important cultural and political center. The city was mentioned first time in 1256. A rich architectural atmosphere of the city was formed by different European architectural styles during 13 th -20 th centuries.
